Bio
Dr. Shinichi Kanazono received his veterinary degree from the Iwate University, Japan in 2004. After spending 3 years in a referral-based private practice in Tokyo, he gained further experience working as a postdoctoral research fellow at Comparative Neurology Lab in University of Missouri for the next 3 years. He completed a residency in veterinary neurology and neurosurgery in 2013 at University of Missouri. Kanazono then returned to Japan where he served as the Chief of Neurology & Neurosurgery Service at Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Center. In addition, he serves as the hospital director since 2022.
